Cherry european

Origin:

Central and Southern Europe

Color:

Initially a soft pink, when exposed to light the wood takes on a warm tone. Fine pores, very uniform and typically exhibiting a semi gloss.

Application:

Owing to its exclusive elegance, it has been preferred for furniture since time immemorial. It is one of the types of veneer most frequently used in period furniture making. European Cherry can also be combined with lighter or darker types of wood, as well as other materials. European Cherry is used in interior finishing for all wall and ceiling paneling, doors and for furniture built into business and presentation rooms.

Very emotional, very exclusive. Sure of style, select and discerning, it testifies to self-assurance.

Did you know ...

... that managed forests, thanks to their high proportion of young, strong, growing trees, enable CO2 to be extracted?

... that an old, unmanaged forest produces as much CO2 through processes of decomposition and decay as it stores, and that therefore an unmanaged forest contributes nothing to reducing global CO2?
